Pink Footed Geese fly to their roost on the North Norfolk coast

I’ve been hearing about the Pink footed geese in North Norfolk for ages and finally managed to stop by Burnham Overy Staithe a few weeks ago. The wash and coastline were properly autumnal with skeins of noisy geese flying to or from the beet fields at dawn and dusk. Sadly the window of light was very brief but beautiful when it did arrive at sunset.
