We would watch him play alone and, whenever she would allow, with his long suffering Mum. Catching her tail, practicing stalking & constantly being in the way when she tried to move. This is a fabulous time to film cheetah as the females are solitary cats it’s such a joy to see them interact & let their hair down!

Collars are used by the scientists to help both understand and conserve the cheetah, both in Liuwa and hopefully across Africa. By working closely with @zcp_zambia , it allowed Dynasties to follow Kali in a way we would never have been able to do without them, but the collars were there purely for scientific reasons.

The spots lasted about a week before the collar turned a traditional dull brown!
