Cannot believe it’s March 2015 already. Filming has been busy with trips to Ethiopia late in 2014 and Kenya early 2015, the results of which will be coming to BBC 1 this autumn. Ethiopia was stunning, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been luckily enough to film and Kenya remains, despite what you may hear on the news, a great place to visit and see wildlife. it was wonderful to hang out with old friends and catch up on all the animal’s lives. The Mara is changing, still absolutely stunning but having chatted to my pals, I left feeling concerned about the livestock encroachment into The Reserve depleting the grass for the ungulates and the knock on effects that will have in the future.
